This session can either be held as a "teach the educator" or "teach the students" program. Learn how to use humor to change perspective, increase creative thinking and improve problem solving skills. Learn to use principles of comedy improvisation to accept ideas from others, offer support and build upon those ideas, strengthening the ability to collaborate. And improve active listening and communication skills. I'm happy to accommodate educator requests to build in certain lessons or topics. In order to do interactive activities, this is best for groups with no more than 25 students per session.

Starting to think about what comes after school or maybe your students are interested in a public relations career. In this session, PR professional, Jeannine Luby, is ready to talk through all the things PR and self promotion related! Learn how to use digital media AND traditional media to get your message communicated. Using corporate and personal experience as an entrepreneur and principles from the Public Relations Society of America, Jeannine will cover all the fundamentals of public relations and promotion. This can be adapted to incorporate/complement teachers' requests.

This interactive conversation will focus on what it means to be a good citizen online, choosing and using words carefully, understanding the consequences of social media posts on others and on the person posting. Real examples of kind, positive social media posts will be shown from the online campaign called "CickAway Cyberbullying." This conversation can be adapted to meet teacher's special requests. Each session recommended for groups with no more than 25 students.

Students learn how to think more creatively, broaden their vocabulary, choose words carefully, gain confidence and use humor for self-expression and support. I use my 15 years of experience writing comedy & joke writing methods from Judy Carter's best-selling "Comedy Bible."

I provide an overview of what skills are required for this field and specific examples of professional projects I have worked on, specifically in the health care marketing industry. I explain the importance of deadlines and reveal how professionals from graphic design, writing, and other business areas collaborate to complete projects.
